TindFur is a web application that allows local animal shelters to upload adoptable pets. Users can then use the application to "mactch" with an adoptable pet based on specified filters.
In this project, I was responsible for the front end development of the project. I also worked together with my teammates to implement the back end technologies that allowed the pets to interact with our database. Technologies used include HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Javascript, jQuery, JSON, Node.js, MySQL, Seqelize, Express, and Handlebars.
Ideas to expand this project include: allowing users to have an account that keeps track of all of their potential matches, and informs them if a match has been adopted; partner with the various shelters to create one centralized adoption form for users to fill out, so that they can use that in association with their profile to apply at any of the available.
